Meet Joel: A Georgia native and graduate of Georgia State University. Throughout his academic journey, he became fascinated with the diverse world of Atlanta's best restaurants, spanning from laid-back eateries to high-end dining establishments. This culinary experience not only honed his skills in the restaurant industry but also kindled a passion for farming and food culture.

It was during his tenure at Atlas Restaurant in Buckhead that Joel's knowledge truly flourished, as he explored the world of local, organic ingredients. This immersive experience acted as a catalyst, inspiring him to become a certified mushroom forager and begin his career in mycological “study”.

In the year 2023, Joel's dream came to life with the inception of Mycelial Minds - a visionary local mushroom farm that stands as a testament to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Here, he has masterfully blended his passion for gastronomy with a deep commitment to nurturing the earth, by cultivating a haven for specialty mushrooms, dedicated to sustainability.

We decided to bring on Rohan as Morel Support Manager to ensure that the work place always has a sense of pawsitive energy. As “MSM”, Rohan must consistently and tail-waggingly spread joy and happiness among employees. Since joining the team he has mastered the art of the zoomies, showcasing top-notch energy and enthusiasm and regularly assists in filing requests for belly rubs, head pats, and treats, ensuring each employee receives ample attention.
